DAFC Centenary Club
Welcome to the website of the Dunfermline Athletic Centenary Club.
The Centenary Club was formed in 1985 to celebrate the centenary of the founding of Dunfermline Athletic Football Club.
To date we have donated over £700,000 to the football club.
It had come to Jim`s notice that the then 3rd division club, Bolton Wanderers, had been enjoying a lot of financial input from a members` club that had been established at the ground. Together with club Vice-Chairman, Bill Braisby Senior, Jim Harrison and Willie Rolland, he visited Bolton to have a look at the setup and came back to convince the board that this was the way forward. The idea was to combine fund-raising through monthly subscriptions and special events and to provide member benefits in the form of monthly prize draws and hospitality packages.
To date, the Centenary Club has donated nearly £700,000 in prizes and contributed more than half a million pounds to the Football Club.
